Subtracting Mixed Numbers with Ungrouping
Don't let ungrouping scare you! Ungrouping is simply changing the form of the same number. It is similar to getting change for a $10 bill. If you owe someone $4, but all you have is a $10 bill, you will need to break your bill by changing the form to a $5 and 5 $1 bills. You still have $10, it's just in a different form.
